This 4-week class is for students who want to further their skills in beadmaking and working hot glass in the torch. Students will learn to make several different bead shapes including hollows and basic sculpture techniques. They will also refine their skills by exploring intermediate decorative techniques such as multi-layered dots, raking, and laticino. The instructor will be there to assist with design techniques, offer suggestions and assist students in completing their design ideas.
Class price includes safety glasses, various colors of Moretti glass, mandrels, kiln time, and all the tools needed. Prerequisites: One Beadmaking Bootcamp or an introductory flameworking class. After the second class, you may come in and rent studio time. This class is a prerequisite to future classes using our new Mega-Minor torches.
Includes three free 2-hour open studio sessions.
