Come join us at Chicago Glass Collective!

There are many ways to enjoy our studio.

You can simply drop-in to work on a project for a few hours (policies apply) or become a Collective Member which offers the benefits of full studio access, participation in studio shows and discounts on workshops, retail glass and supplies. Members and drop-ins are able to rent torches, kilns and other equipment at the studio.

Collective Membership* ($420/year)

By becoming a member of Chicago Glass Collective, you not only receive full access to the studio, you also receive the following benefits to enhance your creative experience at CGC:

• Member Artist Gallery - Artist bio, photo & artwork on CGC website

• Option for quarterly materials order from Bullseye/Ed Hoy/AAE

• All access to bi-monthly Collective Nights starting in February 2023

• 10% off all retail glass, workshops and classes

• 50% off Studio Time for fusing and hot head torch use

• 25% off Studio Time when renting dual fuel torches

• Members may purchase a Studio Card

• Members only field trips and gallery outings

• Priority when signing up for visiting artist workshops

• Priority for kiln reservations and torch use

• Inclusion in one membership show per year (Ravenswood Art Walk)

• Inclusion of your artwork in the CGC Gallery Retail Store

• Invites to Member party (1 per year) with one guest (usually in early November)

*Membership does not include permanent workspace or equipment rentals.  Lockers (if available) are $12/mo. or 1/2 locker for $6/mo.  Glass bins (if available) are $12/mo. or share a bin for $6/mo.

Open Studio for Students and Non-Members with Glass Experience

Chicago Glass Collective also offers non-member open studio options for workspace and equipment rentals. To access this Open Studio option you must receive initial equipment training through a 2-hour workshop or via permission of the studio manager (if you have prior experience) prior to participating in open studio. During open studio times, a CGC staff member will be on hand as a guide.

Members Open Studio Card ($100)

• Makes check out faster and easier

Flameworking Independent Study Pass ($300/mo)

• Offers unlimited access to the flame-working studio during open hours (9am-9pm) when classes and workshops are not in session.

• Kiln access, bead release and hand tools are included.

• Pass can be issued only to members or students who have had at least two Multi-week CGC flame-working classes and work well on their own. Permission required from CGC Owner.
